ABOUT

Originally from the Wild West of Phoenix, Arizona, I’ve called Brooklyn home for the last 10 years. My constant home however, is in the art I create.

Through composing, performing, acting, writing, designing, and collaborating, I create stories that evoke poignant reactions. My primary focus is on aural architecture - how sound moves listeners physically and emotionally. Out of all my modes of expression, music flows through me the most. I hear the John Cage Philosophy, that every sound is music even within perceived silence, throughout my life.

Acting was my introduction to performing and continues to expand my storytelling capabilities.  I first acted in community theatre productions and church shows when I was 4 years old and went on to do regional theatre as a teenager. After playing Snoopy in Berklee College of Music’s production of You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, I put acting on the back burner as I turned my focus on writing musicals and stories.

I pursued acting again in 2018 while immersing myself in Meisner Technique at Matthew Corozine Studios. In addition to acting training in theater, film, and TV I added voiceover and film scoring to my creative toolkit. All of these creative endeavors combined are like a clay I use to mold my best work of art: a whole and truthful life. Because in my life, there is no separation between art , my day to day reality, and my purpose.

I’ve experienced synesthesia for as long as I remember. Sound has always been accompanied by colors, pictures, scenes, and movement. Creative synesthesia is what drives compelling storytelling. The desire to share and communicate is why ancient humans painted in caves and later developed written language, making way for an ever evolving progression of expression.

In my 36+ years of life, I’ve applied myself to grow all the skills it takes to tell the stories that need to be told.

I’m dedicated to contributing to projects that promote growth. Let’s leave a purposeful imprint together.
